Park Rules
At Junction 4 Urban Sports Village, we prioritise safety, respect, and enjoyment for all our visitors. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we kindly ask all users to adhere to the following etiquette and rules while at our skatepark:
- Helmet Safety: Over 31% of accidents at skateparks result in a head injury. We strongly advise wearing a helmet at all times within the skatepark. Helmets are mandatory for under 16’s.
- Respect for Others: Treat fellow riders, spectators, and staff with respect and courtesy. Wait your turn and avoid cutting in line. Be mindful of other riders on the course and communicate effectively to prevent collisions. Always be aware of those around you, especially when dropping in on a ramp or performing tricks. Don’t be a snake!
- Keep it Clean: Help us maintain a clean and tidy environment by disposing of trash in designated bins. Let’s work together to keep our skatepark looking its best.
- No Drugs or Alcohol: The use of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited within the skatepark premises. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- No Vandalism: Graffiti and vandalism are not tolerated within our skatepark. Respect the property and facilities provided for your use.
- Obey Posted Signs: Pay attention to all posted signs and instructions throughout the skatepark. They are there for your safety and guidance.
- No Profanity or Aggressive Behaviour: Keep language and behaviour appropriate for all ages. We strive to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere for everyone.
- Be Mindful of Those Around You: Always be aware of other users and spectators. When dropping in on a ramp or performing tricks, ensure you are not endangering others.
- Respect the Environment: Avoid damaging vegetation, wildlife, or any natural features surrounding the skatepark.
- Parental Supervision: Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times, especially younger users who may need extra guidance.
- Report Safety Hazards: If you notice any safety hazards or concerns within the skatepark, please notify a staff member immediately.
